  About

This site is dedicated to providing accurate information about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, such as LDS beliefs, practices, history, and other useful information. While this site is neither authorized nor sanctioned by the Church, every effort has been made to ensure that it is consistent with official Church teachings, and the highest quality of scholarship.

Anti-Mormonism will tell you that the Church is not being honest about its history, theology, etc. and is spreading a message that is contrary to scripture, and "traditional" Christianity. This however is false. Anti-Mormons in fact themselves use facts and truth to tell great lies concerning the Latter-day Church of Jesus Christ. They bear false witness in almost every claim against the Church. This web site's purpose is to take whatever negative claim that anti-mormonism makes about the LDS Church be it in book, video, or web form and to then demonstrate exactly how that claim is a perversion of the full facts of the issue. When the full facts are known for each issue, the anti-mormon claim is simply an outright LIE, which does use truth to make their claim, but uses it to pervert the actual truth in the matter.

While it is true that when humans are involved that nothing can be perfect even within the Church, that in scholarship one can sometimes error, this is understandable. But, when 99% of the claims of anti-mormonism against the Church are outright falsehoods, thus not even reflective of actual LDS theology and the fullness of truth, there is in fact a serious problem. LDS do not claim absolute perfection in anything related to the Church or it's leaders, but the claims of anti-mormonism aren't even in the same universe as to what the Church is and has been in it's theology, history, leaders words, etc. Even the Bible and various Biblical prophets do not have such perfection, yet anti-mormonism would have us think otherwise.

It is true that the Church in it's weekly services teaches only a "basic" history relating only what the Church actually considers to be the Church which goes towards fulfilling it's three-fold mission, but it is not true that history is hidden from the members. There are many other avenues both in the Church and with it's people in which the fullness of what the Church has been and is can be known, this web site for example is just one of those avenues.

"And now, if there are faults they are the mistakes of men; wherefore, condemn not the things of God, that ye may be found spotless at the judgment-seat of Christ." (Book of Mormon)
